Ric Flair Make Shocking Claim About John Cena and Randy Orton!
WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair thinks Randy Orton has more chance than John Cena to break his previous world title record. The Nature Boy and Cenation Leader hold the record for the most world title reigns in professional wrestling history with their 16 victories, according to WWE.
It has been five years since John Cena last held a world championship in the WWE, and since he only competes sometimes, it seems improbable that he will do so again.
The 14-time world champion Randy Orton continues to appear frequently in WWE. To surpass the current record, he just needs three more world championships. Given that he is still one of the company’s biggest stars, it is likely to happen.
Ric Flair on Randy Orton
Ric Flair recently discussed his prediction that The Viper, not John Cena, will break his record on Insight with Chris Van Vliet.
“I don’t think so. I don’t think they will ever give it to a part-time performer. I think that Randy Orton has a better shot at it, Randy will come back, he has to have surgery. But I certainly wouldn’t be offended because the real number is 21. They all have a way to go. But I love John Cena, he is a such a credible performer and just one of the great guys in the business,” Ric Flair said.
The last time John Cena held a world championship in WWE
One of the most prestigious superstars in the organization’s history is John Cena. He has shared the ring with many stars and served as the event’s headliner on numerous occasions, including WrestleMania.
He won the WWE Championship at Royal Rumble 2017, marking his 16th reign as a world champion, by defeating AJ Styles. Later on, at the Elimination Chamber, he would lose it to Bray Wyatt.
He competed against Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at SummerSlam the previous year but was unsuccessful.
