Triple H is Going to Made a New SummerSlam Match For Seth Rollins?? Big News for Seth!
After Riddle was recently written off the program due to a narrative injury, Dave Meltzer predicted that Triple H may reveal a new SummerSlam bout for Seth Rollins. As reported by WWE, Rollins’ assault on Riddle on RAW resulted in a brachial plexus injury.
In response to his SummerSlam match being postponed, Rollins tweeted a sincere apology to his followers.
The fascinating way in which Triple H responded to Rollins’ message suggested that The Cerebral Assassin might be working on scheduling a fresh match.
Triple H could announce a new SummerSlam match for Seth Rollins
Meltzer claimed that Triple H “baby faced himself” with his reply and that he could “save the day” by announcing a replacement opponent for Rollins on Wrestling Observer Radio.
“They moved it [Rollins vs Riddle] to Clash at the Castle for whatever reason. That’s what they did. And I got the impression from that tweet that it’s like Triple H kind of ‘baby facing’ himself where he takes away a match, and you’re all disappointed. Well, injury takes away the match, although it’s a worked injury. So, he comes and saves the day and, you know, announces a match…,” Dave Meltzer said.
When will WWE confirm Seth Rollins’ new SummerSlam match?
WWE has a limited amount of time to provide information on Seth Rollins‘ situation. Before SummerSlam, the promotion has one more SmackDown episode. As was previously reported, Riddle’s match with Rollins was postponed from SummerSlam because WWE wanted to save it for Clash at the Castle.
In his most recent social media post, Rollins also appeared to have abandoned his heel persona, suggesting that there may be another development in the storyline.
“I guess they’ll announce a match on Friday’s SmackDown or tomorrow or whatever. Seth Rollins was talking about the heel is going like, ‘I worked so hard, I deserved to be on this show, and I really want to wrestle on this show.’ That was quite the babyface tweet, too. So, yeah, it’s one of his first moves is, I guess, doing this and the other big move,” Meltzer added.
