Sad News From Big E about his return to the ring!
After the accident he had in the ring, Big E was under a big question mark regarding his return to the ring. Although the prognosis was promising at the beginning, it turned out that he had a long recovery period ahead of him.
Two weeks ago, Big E revealed that we won’t be seeing him anytime soon and the date he might return. “I can live my life pretty normally,” Big E said, as quoted by Wrestling Inc. “But [my neck’s] not in a position where I should be ramming my head against other things, immovable objects.
So wrestling doesn’t make sense right now. For me right now, March of next year is very far off. So, I don’t want to spend a lot of time worrying or stressing about that. I’m just kind of living my life”.
“Honestly, my philosophy as a human being is learning to be content with whatever life brings you. I’m so grateful to not be in a wheelchair, but if I was, I would have to adjust to life in a wheelchair, that’s just how I am programmed,” he said.
“If I spend hours or days or weeks kind of mourning where I’m at in life, and not being what I wanted to be, that doesn’t serve me”.
Problems in Big E’s career
In an interview with the MMA Hour a few days ago, he talked about the opportunities that WWE gave him, but also the problems in his career.
“When I got hired, I was 23 … I think it was a time in my life where if I had died in the ring, cool. I got to do what I love, and I went out there in the ring. Now at 36, having worked through a lot of those things and being mentally healthier, this job has allowed me to meet so many different people from so many different walks of life and have so many different experiences,” said Big E.
