Triple H told WWE crew that things will be done a new way! Triple H Changing Everything in WWE??

Expect some major changes to WWE’s product in the coming weeks and months as they begin to move away from the sports entertainment aspects that were favored by Vince McMahon.

During The Gathering in Charlotte, North Carolina, legendary promoter Jerry Jarrett (father of Jeff Jarrett) was asked what he thinks will change in WWE now with Triple H running the creative side of things.

Jarrett shared some news that he likely heard from someone who works in WWE. Jarrett said the following:

“They didn’t tell me not to tell anybody. So I’ll tell you, Hunter called, this week, the Raw crew and the Smackdown crew and said, ‘My father-in-law and Stephanie’s father….We admire him and we respect him. He reached success that we would never know without him, but we don’t know how to do it his way, and we’re not going to try. We’re going to try a new way.’… and I think the new way is to put wrestling instead of sports entertainment. I mean, I that’s pure speculation on my part.”

WWE has already begun to change their weekly television as it was clear this week that they have largely done away with the silly segments. There was no 24/7 Title segment on Raw, for example.

Additionally, some released talent has been brought back. Thus far, Dakota Kai, IYO SHIRAI, and Karrion Kross (with Scarlett) are being pushed in top storylines on their respective brands. It’s also expected that more former talent will be asked about returning. In Kross’ case, he is being pushed as a monster heel like he was in NXT and without the Gladiator gear with the helmet.

The move to pro wrestling is not entirely surprising because Triple H was trained by Killer Kowalski and he is a big-time admirer of Harley Race, who is considered to be one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all-time. The statement from Jerry Jarrett is the first time we’ve gotten some confirmation on how far these changes will go. These are exciting times for wrestling fans.
